"My experience with LIFX continues to get worse with every passing year which is a shame because it started well as the first branded smart home item I got into. I have since replaced all my LIFX branded globes due to their unreliability in recent years. The remaining Z Light Strip disconnects regularly and has to be manually turned off and on in order to control colours/brightness before it disconnects again. I replaced it once already due to this issue but clearly it's not isolated."

"I bought 6 LIFX bulbs (Straight from LIFX) to Switch it up a bit from my (almost to capacity) Hub of Hue lights. Because they said they were better... And I Agree the Bulbs are excellent... The App on the other hand is complete Trash... I can't ever connect when I need to. It lags, bugs up the Wazooo. Hit strobe one time and it freezes the App. Not enough compatible effect apps. So very limited... Not Happy about my purchase. And the Wife hates em too."

"My light is no where in my App ever! Should of spent 15.00 on amazon for a tv backlight. Customer service absolutely does not exist. ****Update I purchased a different light on amazon and have had nothing but fantastic luck and paid 1/4 of the price. I threw the LIFX the trash it was where it belonged!! Straight in the garbage where there customer service hides!"

"Edit: I having major issues with a firmware update to my bulb. I contacted support and they told me to update from Android 9 to Android 12. This is the WORST customer support I have ever received. --- Oh my good lord!!! The latest update is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. Please for the love of God roll back to the previous version so I can use my lights again!!!!"
